O Canada. You gotta travel it to believe it.

Canada is amazing. So much space so much to do.
1. See the North’s 'Big Five' in the Riding Mountain National Park
In the bold, boreal forests of Riding Mountain National Park you will find the North’s 'Big Five' comprising of black bear, moose, bison, beluga whale and polar bear. The meadows and lakes, as well as the lofty heights and deep gorges that make up the Manitoba escarpments are ideal for the thriving of these northern mammals.
2. Canadian Arctic Experience in Mittimatalik
Located across the Davis Strait in Nunavut is the region popularly known as Pond Inlet or Mittimatalik. Here you will get the rare chance to sigh the polar bear, whales, and muskox. While not in season, you can always engage in winter sports such as cross-country skiing or dog sledding.
3. Snorkel among the Beluga Whales in Churchill River
Even as I shudder at the prospects of swimming with the giant sea mammals, I know there are some who are braver than me and would attempt this crazy but satisfying experience just to rub in the fact. Trust me; those who have done it say it is the most thrilling experience they have ever had - better than sex, they say.
4. Explore Churchill aboard the Tundra Buggy
A tundra Buggy is a self-contained mobile home - more advanced than the recreational vehicle. Aboard this monstrosity of a vehicle, you can explore all the icy terrain you can think of. I would advise you try it out in Churchill where you will encounter the majestic polar bears. Make sure you carry your camera - the sights you will encounter are very rare.
5. See the Grizzly Bear in their natural habitats at Great Bear Rain Forest
There is nothing I would not give to get as close as one gets to the Grizzly bears at this forest. The chill that runs down your spine is good for your heart and the sights are memorable.
There you have it. You do not have to travel to Africa to see great animals and hike a beautiful landscape. You can do it right here in North America. Enjoy your safari!
