Gunung Mulu National Park, Malaysia, a nature tropical paradise

Located in the island of Borneo in the State of Sarawak, Malaysia, the Gunung Mulu National Park is one of the most amazing and stunning natural wonders in Southeast Asia. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site that boasts of one of the longest networks of caves in the world. It is also home to the largest underground chamber in the world, the Sarawak Chamber, where forty Boeing 747 airplanes can be accommodated.
One of the most studied tropical karst area in the world, the Gunung Mulu National Park covers a total area of 204 squares miles featuring caves, pinnacles, tropical rain forests, 17 different vegetation zones, crystal-clear rivers, rare and exotic flora and fauna, and its two highest peaks, Gunung Mulu and Gunung Api. The park is named after Gunung Mulu, 2376 meters above sea level, and the second highest mountain in the state of Sarawak. The Mulu Airport is your gateway to the park. It is served by MASwings, a subsidiary of Malaysian Airlines, which links Mulu to Miri, Kuching, and Kota Kinabalu.
