Bordeaux is a city located on the south west of France near the Atlantic coast. Its most renowned hallmarks include wines and arts and thus if you love the two, you will have a lot of fun in the city. Equally enchanting is the gastronomy sector in the city. After a long day exploring the streets of Bordeaux, you are well advised to replenish your energies with some French delicacy and then wash it down with some top-shelf wine. Check out the list of the top eats in the city below.

Located on 5 Rue Montesquieu, this restaurant boasts some of the tastiest delicacies in Bordeaux. Apparently, this is where visiting heads of states dine and why not? How would you love to dine in a rustic French house that is fitted with vintage furniture and a big open fireplace? Well this is the experience you will get at this restaurant. Expect dishes such as pot-au-feu, foie gras, slow-roasted lamb, roast Bigorre pork and spit-roasted beef. Weekday two-course lunch menu will cost from €18 and dinner from €65 upwards. The restaurant is located at 2-8 Rue Porte de la Monnaie.

4. La Brasserie Bordelaise

Located at 50 Rue St Rémi, this restaurant is one of the cheapest in Bordeaux. Most of its delicacies will cost you €10 to €30. After the meals, you will have the choicest cognacs and armagnacs to wash down the meals.
